This is a night set aside for intentional time spent praying and listening together as a family for direction for VCOV in the upcomging year.

We want to continue to be led by the Holy Spirit into what’s next and all that he has in store for us. We value the voices in our family because we can’t do this alone. Below you’ll see some prayer prompts to be praying into and listening. If God puts something on your heart please share it with us!

I have been restored
To the love of God
I thought it was the end
But it’s just begun

I’m a sinner saved
By the grace of God
Not for what I’ve done
Or for what I’ve not

You, my Jesus
My strength and fortress
My hope and purpose
You are all this, and more
And more, and more

I love, I love, I love, I love
I love You, I love You

No height or depth can separate
Your steadfast love we can’t escape
Your faithfulness, an endless sea
So full of grace and mercy
We sing

God is so good
God is so good
God is so good
He’s so good to me

Haunted by the past no more
My answers have been restored
Forgiveness flows from Your veins
Your kindness shown in all Your ways

There’s never been anyone like You
There’s never been anyone like
You are worthy, You are worthy

Hope is rising like the sun
The old is gone, the new has come
I fix my eyes on Christ alone
My Rock, my Shield, my Cornerstone
We sing

God you’re so good
God you’re so good
God you’re so good
You’re so good to me

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus
Over every heart and every mind
‘Cause I know there is peace within Your presence
I speak Jesus

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus
‘Til every dark addiction starts to break
Declaring there is hope and there is freedom
I speak Jesus

‘Cause Your name is power
Your name is healing
Your name is life
Break every stronghold
Shine through the shadows
Burn like a fire

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus
Over fear and all anxiety
To every soul held captive by depression
I speak Jesus

Shout Jesus from the mountains
Jesus in the streets
Jesus in the darkness over every enemy
Jesus for my family
I speak the holy name, Jesus

The Lord bless you and keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His face toward you
And give you peace

Amen, amen, amen

May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And Your family and your children
And their children, and their children

May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you

In the morning, in the evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you

1 I saw Heaven and earth new-created. Gone the first Heaven, gone the first earth, gone the sea.

2 I saw Holy Jerusalem, new-created, descending resplendent out of Heaven, as ready for God as a bride for her husband.

3-5 I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: “Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women! They’re his people, he’s their God. He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone.” The Enthroned continued, “Look! I’m making everything new. Write it all down—each word dependable and accurate.”

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

We exist to welcome people home to a family being transformed by the life and love of Jesus. This goodness can not be contained and spills into the hearts, homes and streets of the city, as we release the powerful peace, joy, hope and love of the Kingdom of God.

We see this mulitplying into a thick web of interconnected, hot pockets of hope and life bubbling up in every neighborhood of Covington and beyond. Healthy, reproducing families living deep lives of transformation together by practicing the Spirit-empowered way of Jesus with hospitality and service to the people around them.
